Terms of Service
Last Updated: April 5, 2026
Welcome to The Greens Keeper. By accessing our website or using our services (including our online booking and payment portal powered by Jobber),
you agree to the following terms.
1. Servicea & Estimates
- Quotes: All estimates provided via the website or Jobber are preliminary. A final price will be confirmed only after a site visit or a formal "Work Order" is issued.
- Scope: We will perform the services outlined in your specific Jobber quote. Any additional work requested on-site may result in additional charges.
2. Payments & Billing
- Payment Terms: Payments are due upon receipt of the invoice unless otherwise specified.
- Jobber Portal: We use Jobber to process quotes, invoices, and payments. By using these features, you agree to Jobber’s processing of your data for these transactions.
- Late Payments: The Greens Keeper reserves the right to pause ongoing services if accounts remain unpaid past their due date.
3. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure we can do our best work, the customer agrees to:
- Ensure the property is accessible on the scheduled service date (gates unlocked, pets indoors).
- Clear the work area of any debris, toys, or pet waste.
- Identify any hidden underground hazards (invisible fences, private irrigation) not marked by public utility locators.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Client Cancellation: Please provide at least 24–48 hours notice for cancellations.
- Weather: Landscaping is weather-dependent. The Greens Keeper reserves the right to reschedule services due to rain, extreme heat, or other unsafe conditions.
5. Liability & Property
- While we take the utmost care, The Greens Keeper is not responsible for damage to unmarked underground items (like wires or pipes) or minor wear to turf from heavy equipment necessary for the job.
- We are fully insured and WSIB compliant in the province of Ontario.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, The Greens Keeper’s liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service in question.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business or legal requirements. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
